First off, I have never EVER been as excited for an Idol week as much as I was for this one.
One, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius and I admire him very very much.
Two, I wanted to hear a certain few songs I really love sung by the Idol boys.
And they read my mind, wow.
Warning by the way. These are biased fan opinions. :)) Kill me now.
Jason Castro's
Memory. Memory is my favorite song to sing on karaoke, so it's THAT close to my heart. XD I love Jason, he's such a beautiful boy. But I don't know if Memory was the right song choice. But oh heck, Jason wins me over by his cuteness alone. I love his expressions. Jasooooooon. Argh. Smack me so I can snap out of it.
David Archuleta's
Think of Me. Oh my. Think of Me is one of my favorite songs by Mr. Webber. It reminded me of my Phantom phase in life, when I couldn't stop singing or playing the songs. And here comes Mr. Archuleta, pulling it off oh so nicely. It's one of the first times he did a little something more than the usual with the arrangement of a song, and it did him good in my opinion. Oh, boy. His voice kills me. ♥ I'm a sucker for a pretty voice. Much more if the pretty voice belongs to an adorable boy, younger than me by a bit more than a month.
David Cook's
Music of the Night. Oh swoon. Oh snap. Mr. Cook. Whyyyyyyyyyy. I didn't know what to expect, since David usually does so much with song arrangements. I can't believe I doubted him for even a second. Maybe it's cause Gerard Butler's voice and gorgeousness had already been glued to my mind since forever. I say he was whoaaaaaaaa. I was blown away. I loved how he showed off his voice and modified some parts, since this song is fairly simple to sing/play. Mr. Coooooooook. ♥ His segment with Mr. Webber cracked me up, by the way.
I've not much to say about the girls, I'm that biased.
I love Carly though. :D
And Syesha still hasn't won me over. :)) I just can't come to like her.
And I was NOT impressed by Brooke's opening blunder. o_o
Please let it be Brooke or Syesha. Don't take away any boys just yet. I'm still having so much fun watching them!
